Warning: Unoriginal Blog Material (Hijacked Blog Post)

I read this on one of our linked blogs and thought it was a fantastic explanation of where the lines get muddled in The Gospel vs. Religion. I found myself falling on both sides, some much more than others. Just thought I'd share as this was very though-provoking for me

Cougarettes Home Routine

This is my 2010-2011 Cougarette Dance Team. We had our dress rehearsal last night and they did fantastic! I am so excited to take them to camp in a few weeks. They are one of the best parts of my job. They have worked so hard to get this routine together, and it is a difficult one!
Great job girls!

Grampy

It is very sad for me to say that Hays's grandfather, "Grampy," passed away last Tuesday. We were blessed to be able to travel down to south Florida to celebrate his life. I am very sad to say that I was never able to meet him. He was a wonderful man with a lot of talents, and he helped raise a great family. He loved Grammy so much and called her his "Sweetie." Even through the circumstances were heartbreaking, Hays was able to see family that he hadn't seen in a long time, and I was able to see people I had either never met or also hadn't seen in a while. Most importantly, Margaret Anne was able to spend time with family and I think she had a blast. She loved meeting Grammy, and it was so special to me to be able to finally meet her and see her spend time with Margaret Anne. I know that Margaret Anne loves her. All of Hays's family were so wonderful and they will all be in my prayers. Here are some pics.

"Great" Grammy and Margaret Anne

FOUR Generations of Latimers. How special!

This is Margaret Anne and cousin Alicia playing with the infamous "green orange" that Margaret Anne and her Grampy (Hays's dad is going to be Grampy to MA which I think is sweet) found outside. Obviously not quite ripe, but MA thought it was a great toy, and it was really funny how she said "AAH!" every time she rolled it.
This is Margaret Anne and cousin Allison dancing. It was SO precious how she just warmed up to her girl cousins. First cousins once removed, ladies! Margaret Anne even got her great Grammy dancing!

So much...

It seems like we have had so much going on lately.Things just feel so heavy.  And very busy. I haven't been much in the mood for blogging. Hopefully after school gets out I can be a much better blogger and get more updates out.
I have a few prayer requests:
- Hays's paternal grandad has pancreatic cancer and has not been doing well, and has hospice care in his home. Please pray for peace for him and his family.
- Sandi is about to start a new treatment regimen, so please be praying for major improvements for her.
- Jamie and Trey's little boy, Thomas, has been moved to Children's. They are making progress in finding out what may be causing his feeding and breathing problems, so that is a praise! Please pray that there will be a great solution to his problems and that Jamie and Trey will be able to take him home soon. Also pray for peace for them and rest so that they can continue to take care of Charlie too!
- I have several friends that have gone through miscarriages and fertility issues so please keep them in your prayers as well. You can specifically read my friend Rachel's inspirational story, on her blog. She is such an inspiration to me for so many reasons. Please pray for her and for all of my friends that have been going through these extremely tough situations.

Thanks you guys. I will try harder to be a better blogger :)

Spring has sprung!

And that means that it is time for our annual yard sale! We had our yard sale on Saturday in Trussville, and it was a great time, as always! I think I look forward to the yard sale for several reasons: a) we make a little money, b) we get rid of a lot of stuff every year and don't keep cluttering up our house, and c) really good friends and great socializing time! I don't know how I didn't remember my camera this year, but you will recall that we did get some pics last year. This year did not disappoint. After the big sale, we went over to our friends Kimberly and Brett's house for fellowship with our awesome T-vegas friends. We always have SO much fun with them! Margaret Anne really enjoyed all of the baby fun too. Kimberly and Brett have Reece, and she and MA used to be in daycare together. I hope we get to hang out with all of our T-town friends lots this summer! Here are some pics from the cookout, where I DID remember my camera.

Reece and MA cooking. It was very serious.

Grilling. That grill was SO cute!

Music session with Kimberly. The kids LOVED this! Can you tell Kimberly teaches elementary school? :) And I love the look on Thomas's face!

Mommy, this house is so fun!

Thanks for having us Brett and Kimberly! We can't wait to see everyone again!
