Hello Everyone. I just wanted to ask you all for prayers for my friends Jamie and Trey and their newborn son Thomas. Thomas was born last Monday, April 19th, and after a few minutes he was having trouble breathing. He was admitted into the NICU and right now he is still there. The doctors can't seem to find anything specifically wrong with him, but he isn't eating very well (he now has an NG feeding tube) and still needs oxygen every once in a while. He is precious and I know that Jamie and Trey would give anything to be able to bring him home soon and have him be healthy so that he can begin playing with his big brother Charlie! I know he has been receiving a lot of prayers over the last week and they are working because he is slowly improving, but he just needs to improve a lot more so that he can be closer to coming home. Thanks!
And always, please be praying for Sandi.
"But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You. For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield." Psalm 5:11-12
"Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth." Jeremiah 33:6

Backyard Fun!
Today was beautiful, and I wanted to spend as little time as possible indoors. I decided to take MA in the backyard with me to "help" plant some squash while Meredith had some down time, and it turned into the whole family hanging out and having fun! It helps that the backyard is actually close to functional after a few good hours of manual labor. Here are some pictures from today...
Really happy about saying cheese!
Really happy about saying cheese!
Not happy about something...
Mommy got me some golf clubs! I'm a natural!
Is he wearing proper golf attire?
Let me show you how it's done, Daddy!
Full swing with the putter?!
Which one should I use next?
Humans are so easily entertained...
Not quite Augusta National, but we love it!

love is in the air
Last weekend we were in Mobile for the wedding of Corrie (one of my very best friends) and Benjamin. We had a blast, the weather was beautiful, and Corrie and Benjamin planned such a classy, beautiful, FUN wedding! It was SO fun, that Corrie's family had to keep kicking out wedding crashers. And no, I am not joking.
Bridesmaids at the bridesmaids luncheon
Jennifer at the rehearsal. The priest wanted to make sure that we bowed our heads to the Lord, so he did it for us...
Natalie stretched out her shoes before the wedding.
While Loren and I watched and waited...
I think the pictures are going to be beautiful. It was such a gorgeous day!
After the pictures, we relaxed outside.
Then we came in and toasted the beautiful bride and groom (and don't worry everyone, the two pregnant ones are not drinking champagne, just posing with the glasses!)
Corrie was SUCH a beautiful bride!
And they make such a gorgeous couple.
Happily Ever After!

Gorgeous Vintage Jewelry
My good friend Jamie has recently started selling vintage jewelry at Henhouse Antiques. In Jamie's own words:
"As most of you may already know, I started a vintage jewelry business this past year. You can buy the jewelry at Henhouse Antiques in English Village in Birmingham or you can contact me by email for prices, shipping, etc. I buy all of the jewelry in England at various antique markets and fairs. I try to get as much information as possible on each piece. Just let me know if you have any questions about any of the pieces pictured or if you are looking for something in particular. "
You can contact Jamie at jamiecrimhill (at) gmail (dot) com. I have seen many of these pieces in person and they are absolutely gorgeous!

I mean, who wouldn't want something like this vintage crystal necklace?
or this?
This brooch would be so gorgeous on a wedding dress!
And I love these peridot and silver earrings (they are Margaret Anne's birthstone)
And I love these amethyst and seed pearl earrings (I have a thing for purple)!
I think these flower earrings are so cute!
And I would just take my pick of any of these!!
Please email me or Jamie if you would like more information on any of her vintage jewelry. She has many, many pieces that came in her last shipment and I know they won't be there for long!

Blessed
We are so blessed this Easter season! We are so blessed that Christ died. And we are so blessed that He is Risen! We are so blessed because of the family that we were able to see, and the ones that we weren't able to see this Easter. Thank you Lord, for all of your blessings!
A few pics from this Easter...
This is Margaret Anne's Easter basket, before she tore into it! The Easter Bunny MAY have brought some Cadbury cream eggs for the adults :) She is OBSESSED with Elmo and Big Bird, and she didn't have a Big Bird, so Easter Bunny brought her one.
It took her a little while to wake up and get excited about her treats!
The Latimer Family, all dressed up for church! We had a great Easter service.

It was kind of hard to get Margaret Anne to stop running around long enough to smile for the camera, but I thought she was so pretty in her Easter dress!
Please ignore the little red spot on her face. All girls have our little blemishes sometimes :)
Always on the move!
Happy Easter!
Coming Soon...
Will be pictures from this Easter! We had a fantastic weekend and I can't wait to share it with everyone!
