The Loveliest Village on the Plains

We made a trip down to Auburn yesterday so that Hays and Jordan could see our Tigers win their first game of the season. We were lucky that the weather was beautiful and we got to go visit with some friends. We also unexpectedly ran into some new and old friends, which was a wonderful surprise! It was great to see everyone and we want to give a shout out to Jordan for hosting our family at his house, and to his super sweet girlfriend Julie for hanging out with Margaret Anne and me while our men were at the game. War Eagle!

My good friend Rachel. We just happened to be tailgating right next to them! She and I have been friends since 4 year old kindergarten. It was so great to see her and her husband Daniel, who I have also known for as long as I can remember.

That is why I LOVE returning to Auburn. It is nice when our team does well, but it is the tradition, the beauty of the campus, the old and new buildings, and all of the other wonderful things about being an AU alum that make me say "I believe in Auburn. And love it."
